My daughter is learning to be a goalkeeper but experienced turf burn while playing indoors during the winter season while learning how to dive. These pants should help that. She just tried them on and while they feel a bit weird compared to her regular shorts, she can't wait to try them in a game. She is an average sized 8 year old, however these are sized for a 9-10 and are about as small as she would be able to wear. I think the next size up would have been too big for her, so she seems to be in between sizes if we were looking for a perfect fit.
